Could you or someone you know offer William the loving home he deserves?
He is a lovely chap and yet he has been overlooked for 3 years now! William
is very affectionate and will be a very loving companion. He will need an
experienced owner who can help him adjust to life outside of kennels and we
feel he would be happier as an only dog but could live with a quiet female.
William is approx 7 years old and has a thyroid condition that is controlled by
medication. The charity are happy to cover the ongoing cost of this medication
if it means getting him into a home. This is a very common condition in
greyhounds and is not life limiting. If you could offer William a forever or foster

William has a Thyroid deficiency, totally controlled
by daily medication, which if need be, the charity
will cover the cost of the meds.

This is NOT a life threatening condition, in fact it is
fairly common within the breed.

A sluggishThyroid gland or Hypothyroidism is the most
common deficiency in dogs 4-6yrs old.

When the disease is diagnosed early and treated faithfully,
you can expect your dog to live a long and happy life.

our main aim is to rescue and rehome abandoned, abused or unwanted greyhounds. We have
kennel spaces at a local boarding kennels, Kinnings Farm Boarding and Rescue in Chittlehamholt

Ich mußte jetzt doch mal nachfragen..
und siehe da, der Bube hat dann letzten Dezember doch endlich ein Zuhause gefunden.

I am happy to say that William was re-homed at long last in December 2012.
